2Co 1:21

And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us,

2Co 1:22

and Who has also put His seal on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

2Co 1:23

But I call God to witness against me--it was to spare you that I refrained from coming again to Corinth.

2Co 1:24

Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, for you stand firm in your faith.

2Co 2:1

For I made up my mind not to make another painful visit to you.

2Co 2:2

For if I cause you pain, who is there to make me glad but the one whom I have pained?

2Co 2:3

And I wrote as I did, so that when I came I might not suffer pain from those who should have made me rejoice, for I felt sure of all of you, that my joy would be the joy of you all.

2Co 2:4

For I wrote to you out of much affliction and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to cause you pain but to let you know the abundant love that I have for you.

А Той, Хто нас із вами в Христа утверджує, і Хто нас намастив, то Бог,

2Кор 1:22

2Кор 1:23

А я кличу Бога на свідка на душу мою, що я, щадячи вас, не прийшов у Коринт дотепер,

2Кор 1:24

не тому, ніби ми беремо владу над вашою вірою, але вашої радости помічники ми, бо ви встояли вірою!

А я постановив у собі те, щоб до вас не прийти знов у смутку.

І це саме писав я до вас, щоб, прийшовши, я смутку не мав би від тих, що від них мені тішитися належало, про всіх вас бувши певний, що радість моя то радість усіх вас!

Heb 3:1

Therefore, holy brothers, called to be partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,

Heb 3:2

who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all his house.

Heb 3:3

For He was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who has built the house has more honor than the house.

Heb 3:4

For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.

Gal 6:11

See in what large letters I write to you with my hand.

Gal 6:12

As many as desire to look well in the flesh, these compel you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

Gal 6:13

For they themselves, having been circumcised, do not even keep the Law, but they desire you to be circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.

Gal 6:14

But may it never be for me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

Gal 6:15

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any strength, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

Gal 6:16

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them and upon the Israel of God.

Gal 6:17

For the rest, let no one give troubles to me, for I bear in my body the brands of the Lord Jesus.

Gal 6:18

Brothers, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Бо навіть і ті, хто обрізується, самі не зберігають Закона, а хочуть, щоб ви обрізувались, щоб хвалитися їм вашим тілом.

Гал 6:14

А щодо мене, то нехай нічим не хвалюся, хіба тільки хрестом Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, що ним розп'ятий світ для мене, а я для світу.

Гал 6:15

Бо сили немає ані обрізання, ані необрізання, а створіння нове.

Гал 6:16

А всі ті, хто піде за цим правилом, мир та милість на них, і на Ізраїля Божого!

Gospel of Saint Matthew the Apostle 22:1-14

Mat 22:1

And again Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying,

Mat 22:2

"The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son,

Mat 22:3

and sent his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.

Mat 22:4

Again he sent other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.'

Mat 22:5

But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business,

Mat 22:6

while the rest seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them.

Mat 22:7

The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

Mat 22:8

Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy.

Mat 22:9

Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.'

Mat 22:10

And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Mat 22:11

"But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. (1)

Mat 22:12

And he said to him, 'Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless.

Mat 22:13

Then the king said to the attendants, 'Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

Mat 22:14

For many are called, but few are chosen."

(1) Note: The host of the wedding feast provided guests with suitable wedding garments, so that all would be suitably attired.

І послав слуг своїх кликати званих на весілля, і ті не схотіли прийти.

Мт 22:4

Знов послав він інших слуг, наказуючи: скажіть званим: ось обід мій я наготовив; телята мої і, що вигодовано, заколото, і все готово; приходьте на весілля.

Мт 22:5

Вони ж занедбали те, і пішли: той на поле своє, а той до торгу свого;

Мт 22:6

А останні, схопивши слуг його, знущалися над ними й повбивали їх.

Мт 22:7

І почувши, цар той прогнівався, і послав військо своє, і погубив душогубців тих, і місто їх спалив.

Мт 22:8

Тоді каже слугам своїм: весілля налагоджене, а звані не були достойні.

Мт 22:9

Так ідіть же на роздоріжжя, і всіх, кого стрінете, кличте на весілля.

Мт 22:10

І вийшли слуги ті на дороги й привели всіх, кого тільки знайшли, і злих і добрих, і набралось на весілля повно людей.

Цар увійшов подивитись на гостей і побачив там чоловіка, що був не в весільній одежі.2

Мт 22:12

Та й каже йому: Як ти увійшов сюди, друже, не маючи одежі весільної? Він мовчав.

Мт 22:13

Тоді цар сказав слугам: Зв’яжіть йому руки й ноги, візьміть його й киньте в тьму надвірню; там буде плач і скрегіт зубів.

Мт 22:14

Бо багато званих, та мало вибраних. >>

(2) До відома: Коли господар запрошував гостей на весілля, він також постачав їх весільною одежою, щоб усі були відповідно убрані.

And they said Some say, John the Baptist; some, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.

Mat 16:15

He said to them, But who do you say I am?

Mat 16:16

And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Mat 16:17

Jesus answered and said to him, You are blessed, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven.

Mat 16:18

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

А Симон Петро відповів і сказав: Ти Христос, Син Бога Живого!

Мт 16:17

А Ісус відповів і до нього промовив: Блаженний ти, Симоне, сину Йонин, бо не тіло і кров тобі оце виявили, але Мій Небесний Отець.

Мт 16:18

І кажу Я тобі, що ти скеля, і на скелі оцій побудую Я Церкву Свою, і сили адові не переможуть її.

Joh 3:13

And no one has ascended up to Heaven except He who came down from Heaven, the Son of Man who is in Heaven.

Joh 3:14

But even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

Joh 3:15

so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:17

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.

Ів 3:17

Бо Бог не послав Свого Сина на світ, щоб Він світ засудив, але щоб через Нього світ спасся.
