EVENT: Community Consultation for the Halton Newcomer Strategy

Join us for the upcoming 2024 HNS Community Consultation, taking place on Tuesday October 29, 2024, at the Halton Regional Centre at 1151 Bronte Road from 8:30am-3:00pm.

The Halton Newcomer Strategy is a community-based collaborative group that works to ensure Halton is a welcoming, inclusive and supportive community where newcomers can live, work and thrive. As part of these efforts, we want to ensure that newcomers, longstanding community members and stakeholders all have a voice in the work we do. The feedback we receive through this consultation will inform our actions and objectives for the 2025 fiscal year to improve inclusivity, diversity, and equity among the Halton newcomer population.

We’re seeking the support of St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre in sharing this event with the community and newcomers you serve to help inform the work of the Halton Newcomer Strategy. Attendees will have the opportunity to help identify local strengths, gaps in settlement services, opportunities for collaboration and innovative service delivery. 

The HNS Community Consultation is FREE for attendees with breakfast and lunch provided.
