A Prayer for Mothers - Молитва за Матір
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Glory to thee, our God, glory to thee.
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, You have taught us to honour our mothers, and to show love and obedience toward them. From the depth of my heart I fervently pray to You, my God: hear my prayer. Bless my mother who has raised me with the help of Your grace. Protect her from evil, harm and sickness. Grant her faith, health and joy. Bless all her works that she may give You honour and glory all the days of her life. Almighty God in the Holy Trinity One, we beseech You to protect all our Ukrainian Mothers with your Mighty Shield of love. O God, Giver of life and comfort, we ask You for Your continual protection of our mothers in Ukraine from the storm of war into the peace of your Holy presence and peaceful joy. Your Holy silence speaks louder than words, and yet our hearts desire to express our gratitude for the mothers who continually carry the duties of their calling.
Heavenly God and Creator of all beauty, I know that we sometimes go through seasons when we feel weak and tired. But — I also know that your word is true, and your word says that when we trust in you, we find new strength. It’s when we are weak that we can learn to appreciate your strength! You always carry us through to the other side of weariness and exhaustion. When my mother needs strength, help her to lean on you. Help her to accomplish her daily tasks and not grow weary. Give her energy for the day ahead.
O Blessed Mother, you received the good news of the incarnation of Christ, your Son, with faith and trust. Grant your protection to all our mothers facing difficulties.
Guide us as we strive to make our families’ places of warmth and safety for our mothers. Help us become instruments of God’s love and compassion as our mothers look for a peaceful place to bring glory to your presence.
O Holy Theotokos, Mother of the Church, graciously help us protect and love our mothers as we praise and glorify God, the Creator and lover of life. Most Holy Theotokos Virgin, Mother of mercy and compassion, have mercy on all our mothers always and everywhere in the world.

Молитва за наших матерей
Господи Боже наш, допомагай нашим матерям, віджени геть усі їхні тривоги і печалі. Збережи їхні добрі серця від душевних мук і спаси від всіх страждань. Відведи від наших матерей всі недуги, тілесні і душевні, зціли від всіх хвороб. Будь милостивий, Боже до них, зміцни їхню віру в Тебе і обдаруй їх надією. Заради Матері Твоєї, Пречистої Діви Богородиці, почуй благання наші.
Не залишай, Господи, наших матерей в бідах і труднощах без Свого захисту. Яви їм Свою благодать і зішли на них безмежну милість. Ти завжди чуєш молитви наші, що йдуть від самих сердець. Мама — це найдорожче, що є у нас. Просимо Тебе, Боже наш, про те, щоб ми завжди були їм вдячні за все, що вони роблять для нас. Господи Боже допоможи їм, щоб в зрілости свого життя відчили вони Твою безмежну любов, котра віддаляє всіх нас від терпіння, недолі і печалі сердець наших. Пресвятая Богородице спаси нас.
