In 2010, the Eastern Eparchy of the UOCC began a humanitarian mission to help those most required of help in Ukraine - orphans.
Eastern Eparchy
The Eastern Eparchy is made up of 19 parishes in Ontario and Quebec. It is also responsible for any potential new parishes (called missions) within these provinces as well as the eastern provinces of Canada. Read more: “What is the Eastern Eparchy?”
Our Eparchy has been supporting orphans in Ukraine for many years, but now this support is especially important given the current circumstances. Moreover, this year, the funds raised will be used to purchase equipment and teach the children sewing skills. This could provide them with an opportunity to gain a profession.

His Grace, Bishop Andriy blesses the collection of funds in the parishes of the Eastern Eparchy on Sunday, December 15th, 2024. And so we ask, that you also share this request.
As in other years, there will be a collection of funds on Sunday, December 8th, to support the Eastern Eparchy chosen orphanage. Cheques can be made out to Eastern Eparchy Orphanage Fund, and mailed to 3281 Cindy Cresc., Mississauga, ON L4Y 3J7.

У 2010 році Східна єпархія УПЦ Канади розпочала гуманітарну місію, метою якої є допомога тим, хто найбільше потребує допомоги в Україні - дітям-сиротам.

Наша Єпархія підтримує сиротинці в Україні вже багато років, але зараз ця підтримка особливо важлива з огляду на нинішні обставини. Більше того, цього року зібрані кошти будуть спрямовані на придбання обладнання та навчання дітей навичкам шиття. Це дасть їм можливість здобути професію.

Преосвященний владика Андрій благословляє збір коштів у парафіях Східної єпархії у неділю, 15 грудня 2024 року. Просимо вас також долучитися до цього заклику.
Як і в інші роки, у неділю 8 грудня відбудеться збірка коштів на підтримку обраного сиротинця Східної єпархії. Чеки можна виписувати на ім'я Eastern Eparchy Orphanage Fund, а також надсилати поштою на адресу 3281 Cindy Cresc., Mississauga, ON L4Y 3J7.
