On Thursday Aug. 15, 2024, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Cathedral by Fr. Jaroslaw commemorating the falling asleep of our Most-Holy Theotokos. After the liturgy flowers and herbs were blessed using the new booklets from the UOCC. On the Sunday after, more flowers, herbs and fruit were blessed at the Cathedral and Chapel, which were then shared during fellowship (social hour) after the liturgy.
Thank you to Tetiana and Daria at the Cathedral who prepared special bouquets of mint for blessing and a special thank you to John Holuk (Hearts4Ukraine) and Dobrodiyka Natalia for the apples and flowers donated for blessing at the Chapel. Enjoy the photos!
