Photos & Thank You from 2024 Chapel Celebrations!

On Sunday July 7, 2024, over 350 members and friends from the Chapel and Cathedral gathered together in Oakville to celebrate the feast day of All Saints of Ukraine Chapel. His Grace, Bishop Andriy presided over the Divine Liturgy together with Fr. Buciora, Fr. Sencio, Fr. Sidorski, Fr. Kozenko and Fr. Dcn. Yastreb commemorating all the saints of Ukrainian lands (Rus’-Ukraine), together with the altar servers and guest choir members. The choir, under the direction of Christina Kowalenko, led the parish in their prayerful responses. Fr. Dcn. Yastreb was given an award during the liturgy, recognizing his dedication to the Church. The Divine Liturgy was followed by a blessing of the entire temple and faithful.

The liturgy was followed by a tasty picnic lunch by Troyanda catering outdoors. Children bounced around in the inflatable bouncy castle, ran around, and ate ice cream while parents and grandparents had a chance to relax and talk in the shade of the trees to the sounds of some of our local musicians and performers!

Thank you to everyone who joined us this day - your presence is what allows us to call this a community!

A sincere thank you to the 21 volunteers who set-upon Saturday, provided entertainment for our children and music for the event, to the volunteers who monitored the bouncy castle to keep the children safe, to those who performed and especially to the brave volunteers at the registration desk who did such a great job handling over 350 people. You made this a memorable event for many people!

And finally, a huge thank you to the organizers - John Holuk and Db. Natalia Buciora!! May God bless you for your work!

Thank you to Kira for their beautiful photos! You can see the rest on our Facebook page!
