The CBC features Chapel & Cathedral in the News

On Saturday Jan. 7, 2023, the CBC TV crews visited both All Saints of Ukraine Chapel and St. Volodymyr Cathedral to showcase how the Ukrainian Orthodox community in the GTA is celebrating the Nativity this year. 2022 brought many new faces to the community because of the still-raging invasion of Ukraine, many of whom joined us in celebrating Різдво. John Holuk, who helped found the Hearts4Ukraine program that is helping house the newcomers in Oakville and Burlington, ON speaks about the importance of being able to offer some small joys like a visit from Св. Миколай, so that the families, after the ordeal that so many have gone through, can at least have somewhere to call home for a bit and feel welcomed.
