Ukr. Orthodox Youth To Meet in Canmore This Weekend
From Aug. 21-25, 2024, youth from Ukrainian Orthodox parishes across Canada will meet in Canmore, AB for a youth retreat. The national executive of CYMK - Ukrainian Orthodox Youth group (a youth group of our Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada), has been organizing such retreats for the last 5 years as a way for young people (ages 14-24) to meet other youth in our community across Canada.

CYMK was started in 1931 and is local to our church, Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada. It is a youth-run organization (with parent and clergy advisors) for children from 7 to young adults (they have two subdivisions of junior CYMK (7-12) and senior CYMK (13+)). The organization is based on 4 pillars: faith, culture, leadership and fellowship.
