1Co 1:10
I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.
1Co 1:11
For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarrelling among you, my brothers.
1Co 1:12
What I mean is that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," or "I follow Apollos," or "I follow Cephas," or "I follow Christ."
1Co 1:13
Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
1Co 1:14
I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,
1Co 1:15
so that no one may say that you were baptized in my name.
1Co 1:16
(I did baptize also the household of Stephanas. Beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized anyone else.)
1Co 1:17
For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
1Co 1:18
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Тож благаю вас, браття, Ім'ям Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, щоб ви всі говорили те саме, і щоб не було поміж вами поділення, але щоб були ви поєднані в однім розумінні та в думці одній!
1Кор 1:11
Бо стало відомо мені про вас, мої браття, від Хлоїних, що між вами суперечки.
1Кор 1:12
А кажу я про те, що з вас кожен говорить: я ж Павлів, а я Аполлосів, а я Кифин, а я Христів.
1Кор 1:13
Чи ж Христос поділився? Чи ж Павло був розп'ятий за вас? Чи в Павлове ім'я ви христились?
1Кор 1:14
Дякую Богові, що я ані одного з вас не христив, окрім Кріспа та Гая,
1Кор 1:15
щоб ніхто не сказав, ніби я охристив був у ймення своє.
1Кор 1:16
Охристив же був я й дім Степанів; більш не знаю, чи христив кого іншого я.
1Кор 1:17
Бо Христос не послав мене, щоб христити, а звіщати Євангелію, і то не в мудрості слова, щоб безсилим не став хрест Христа.
1Кор 1:18
Бо ж слово про хреста тим, що гинуть, то глупота, а для нас, що спасаємось, Сила Божа!
A reading of Holy Scripture from The Gospel of Saint Matthew the Apostle 14:14-22
Mat 14:14
And Jesus went out and saw a great crowd, and He was moved with compassion toward them. And He healed their sick.
Mat 14:15
And evening coming on, His disciples came to Him, saying, The place is deserted and the time has already gone by. Send the crowd away so that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.
Mat 14:16
But Jesus said to them, They do not need to leave, you give them something to eat.
Mat 14:17
And they said to Him, We have here only five loaves and two fish.
Mat 14:18
And He said, Bring them here to Me.
Mat 14:19
And He commanded the crowd to recline on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to Heaven He blessed and broke, and gave the loaves to His disciples. And the disciples gave to the crowd.
Mat 14:20
And they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve hand baskets full from the fragments that remained.

And they who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Mat 14:22
And immediately Jesus constrained His disciples to get into a boat and to go before Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.

Одного разу, побачивши Ісус багато народу й змилувався над ним і зцілив їх недужих.

У вечері ж ученики Його приступили до Нього, та й кажуть: місце тут безлюдне, а час уже пізній; відпусти народ, нехай ідуть у села й куплять собі харчів.
Мт 14:16
Ісус же сказав їм: не треба їм іти; ви дайте їм їсти.
Мт 14:17
Вони ж Йому кажуть: у нас нема тут більше, як п’ять хлібів та дві риби.
Мт 14:18
А Він сказав: принесіть Мені їх сюди.
Мт 14:19
І звелів народові возлягти на траві і, взявши п’ять хлібів і дві риби, підняв очі на небо, благословив і, поламавши хліби, дав ученикам, а ученики народові.
Мт 14:20
І їли всі й наситились, і набрали шматків, що позоставались, дванадцять кошиків повних.
Мт 14:21
А тих, що їли, було близько п’яти тисяч чоловіків, окрім жінок та дітей.
Мт 14:22
І зараз примусив Ісус учеників Своїх сісти в човен і плисти поперед Його на той бік, поки Він відправить народ.
