Gal 1:11

For I would have you know, brothers, that the Gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel.

Gal 1:12

For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

Gal 1:13

For you have heard of my former life in Judaism, how I persecuted the Church of God violently and tried to destroy it.

Gal 1:14

And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely zealous was I for the traditions of my fathers.

Gal 1:15

But when He who had set me apart before I was born, and Who called me by His grace,

Gal 1:16

was pleased to reveal His Son to me, in order that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone;

Gal 1:17

nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.

Gal 1:18

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and remained with him fifteen days.

Gal 1:19

But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord's brother.

Гал 1:11

Звіщаю ж вам, браття, що Євангелія, яку я благовістив, вона не від людей.

Гал 1:12

Бо я не прийняв, ні навчився її від людини, але відкриттям Ісуса Христа.

Гал 1:13

Чули бо ви про моє поступовання перше в юдействі, що Божу Церкву жорстоко я переслідував та руйнував її.

Гал 1:14

І я перевищував в юдействі багатьох своїх ровесників роду мого, бувши запеклим прихильником моїх отцівських передань.

Гал 1:15

Коли ж Бог, що вибрав мене від утроби матері моєї і покликав благодаттю Своєю, уподобав

Гал 1:16

виявити мною Сина Свого, щоб благовістив я Його між поганами, я не радився зараз із тілом та кров'ю,

Гал 1:17

і не відправився в Єрусалим до апостолів, що передо мною були, а пішов я в Арабію, і знову вернувся в Дамаск.

Гал 1:18

По трьох роках потому пішов я в Єрусалим побачити Кифу, і в нього пробув днів із п'ятнадцять.

А іншого з апостолів я не бачив, крім Якова, брата Господнього.

Luk 16:19

"There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day.

Luk 16:20

And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores,

Luk 16:21

who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man's table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luk 16:22

The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried,

Luk 16:23

and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.

Luk 16:24

And he called out, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.'

Luk 16:25

But Abraham said, 'Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.

Luk 16:26

And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.'

Luk 16:27

And he said, 'Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father's house--

Luk 16:28

for I have five brothers--so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.'

Luk 16:29

But Abraham said, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.'

Luk 16:30

And he said, 'No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.'

Luk 16:31

He said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.'"

Лк 16:19

Сказав Господь притчу цю: Один чоловік був багатий і одягався в порфіру і віссон і забавлявся щодня весело.

Лк 16:20

Був же один убогий, на ім’я Лазар, що лежав перед ворітьми його ввесь у струпах,

Лк 16:21

І бажав покормитись кришками, що падали зо столу багача; і пси, приходячи, лизали рани його.

Лк 16:22

Прийшло вмерти убогому, і віднесений був ангелами на лоно Авраамове; помер же і багатий, і поховали його.

Лк 16:23

І в пеклі, піднявши очі свої, будучи в муках, уздрів здаля Авраама і Лазаря на лоні його; і заголосивши, він сказав:

Лк 16:24

Отче Аврааме! Помилуй мене і пошли Лазаря, нехай умочить кінець пальця свого у воду та прохолодить язик мій, бо мучусь у полум’ї цьому. m

Лк 16:25

Сказав же Авраам: сину! Згадай, що ти прийняв добре своє за життя свого, а Лазар так само лихе; тепер він тут тішиться, а ти муку терпиш;

Лк 16:26

Та й ще до всього того між нами і вами велика пропасть учинена, щоб ті, що хотять перейти звідси до вас, не могли, а ні звідти до нас не переходили.

Лк 16:27

Сказав же він: так прошу тебе, отче, пошли його до дому батька мого,

Лк 16:28

Бо у мене є п’ять братів; нехай посвідчить їм, щоб і вони не пішли у це місце муки.

Лк 16:29

Авраам каже йому: мають Мойсея і пророків, нехай їх слухають.

Лк 16:30

Він же сказав: ні, отче Аврааме! А коли хто з мертвих прийде до них, то покаються.

Лк 16:31

Сказав же йому: коли Мойсея і пророків не слухають, то хоч би хто й з мертвих воскрес, не повірять. Поводьтеся мудро з чужими, використовуючи час.
