Phi 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.

Phi 4:5

Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;

Phi 4:6

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Phi 4:7

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Phi 4:8

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Phi 4:9

What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me--practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Фил 4:4

Радійте в Господі завсіди, і знову кажу: радійте!

Фил 4:5

Ваша лагідність хай буде відома всім людям. Господь близько!

Ні про що не турбуйтесь, а в усьому нехай виявляються Богові ваші бажання молитвою й проханням з подякою.

Фил 4:7

І мир Божий, що вищий від усякого розуму, хай береже серця ваші та ваші думки у Христі Ісусі.

Фил 4:8

Наостанку, браття, що тільки правдиве, що тільки чесне, що тільки праведне, що тільки чисте, що тільки любе, що тільки гідне хвали, коли яка чеснота, коли яка похвала, думайте про це!

A reading of Holy Scripture from The Gospel of Saint John the Apostle 12:1-18

Joh 12:1

Six days before the Passover, Jesus therefore came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.

Joh 12:2

So they gave a dinner for Him there. Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those reclining with him at the table.

Joh 12:3

Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

Joh 12:4

But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples (he who was about to betray Him), said,

Joh 12:5

"Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"

Joh 12:6

He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it.

Joh 12:7

Jesus said, "Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of My burial.

Joh 12:8

The poor you always have with you, but you do not always have Me."

Joh 12:9

When the large crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus was there, they came, not only on account of Him but also to see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.

Joh 12:10

So the chief priests made plans to put Lazarus to death as well,

Joh 12:11

because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.

Joh 12:12

The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.

Joh 12:13

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, crying out, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!"

Joh 12:14

And Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written,

Joh 12:15

"Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey's colt!"

Joh 12:16

His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about Him and had been done to him.

Joh 12:17

The crowd that had been with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to bear witness.

Joh 12:18

The reason why the crowd went to meet Him was that they heard He had done this sign.

Ів 12:1

За шість день до пасхи прийшов Ісус у Вифанію, де був Лазар умерлий, що його Він воскресив з мертвих.

Ів 12:2

Справили ж Йому тут вечерю, і Марфа прислугувала, а Лазар був один з тих, що возлежали з Ним.

Ів 12:3

Марія ж, взявши мира нардового, чистого, дуже дорогого, намастила ноги Ісуса і обтерла волоссям своїм ноги Його, господа ж наповнилась пахощами від мира.

Ів 12:4

Тоді сказав один з учеників Його Юда Симонів Іскаріот, що хотів його видати:

Ів 12:5

Чому б цього мира не продати було за триста динаріїв і не дати убогим?

Ів 12:6

Сказав же він це не тому, що дбав про убогих, а тому, що був злодій і мав скриньку і носив, що вкидали.

Ів 12:7

Сказав же Ісус: остав її; на день похорону Мого вона налагодила це.

Ів 12:8

Бо вбогих завжди маєте з собою, а Мене не завжди маєте.

Ів 12:9

Довідалось же багато народу з Юдеїв, що Він там, і прийшли не тільки ради Ісуса, але щоб побачити і Лазаря, що його Він воскресив з мертвих.

Ів 12:10

Первосвященики ж нарадились, щоб і Лазаря вбити,

Ів 12:11

Бо багато з Юдеїв через нього приходили і вірували в Ісуса.

Ів 12:12

На другий день багато народу, що прийшли на свято, побачивши, що Ісус іде в Єрусалим,

Ів 12:13

Узяли пальмове віття та й вийшовши назутріч Йому кричали: Осанна! Благословен, хто йде в ім’я Господнє, Цар Ізраїлів.

Ів 12:14

Ісус же, найшовши осля, сів на нього, як писано:

Ів 12:15

Не бійся, дочко Сіонська: це Цар твій іде, сидячи на молодім ослі.

Ів 12:16

Але цього не зрозуміли ученики Його спочатку, а коли прославивсь Ісус, тоді згадали, що це було про Нього писано і що так вчинили Йому.

Ів 12:17

Народ, що був з Ним, свідчив, що Він визвав Лазаря з гроба і воскресив його з мертвих;

Ів 12:18

Через те народ і зустрів Його, що чув, що Він сотворив те чудо.
