2Co 11:31

The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.

2Co 11:32

At Damascus, the governor under King Aretas was guarding the city of Damascus in order to seize me,

2Co 11:33

but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall and escaped his hands.

2Co 12:1

I must go on boasting. Though there is nothing to be gained by it, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.

2Co 12:2

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows.

2Co 12:3

And I know that this man was caught up into paradise--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows--

2Co 12:4

and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.

2Co 12:5

On behalf of this man I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses.

2Co 12:6

Though if I should wish to boast, I would not be a fool, for I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me.

2Co 12:7

So to keep me from being too elated by the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from being too elated.

2Co 12:8

Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me.

2Co 12:9

But He said to me, "My Grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Отаким похвалюся, а собою хвалитись не буду, хіба тільки своїми немочами.

Бо коли я захочу хвалитись, то безумний не буду, бо правду казатиму; але стримуюсь я, щоб про мене хто більш не подумав, ніж бачить у мені або чує від мене.

2Кор 12:7

А щоб я через пребагато об'явлень не величався, то дано мені в тіло колючку, посланця сатани, щоб бив в обличчя мене, щоб я не величався.

Про нього три рази благав я Господа, щоб він відступився від мене.

І сказав Він мені: Досить тобі Моєї благодаті, бо сила Моя здійснюється в немочі. Отож, краще я буду хвалитись своїми немочами, щоб сила Христова вселилася в мене.

Col 4:5

Walk in wisdom toward those on the outside, redeeming the time.

Col 4:6

Let your speech be always with grace, having been seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Col 4:7

Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord, will make known to you all things about me.

Col 4:8

I sent him to you for this very purpose, that he might know the things about you, and that he might comfort your hearts,

Col 4:9

along with Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known to you all things here.

Saint Luke the Apostle 8:5-15

Luk 8:5

"A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the air devoured it.

Luk 8:6

And some fell on the rock, and as it grew up, it withered away, because it had no moisture

Luk 8:7

And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it.

Luk 8:8

And some fell into good soil and grew and yielded a hundredfold." As he said these things, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

Luk 8:9

And when His disciples asked Him what this parable meant,

Luk 8:10

He said, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables so that 'seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.'

Luk 8:11

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Luk 8:12

The ones along the path are those who hear; then the devil takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

Luk 8:13

And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away.

Luk 8:14

And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature.

Luk 8:15

As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

А інше ж упало на добру землю, і зійшовши, дало овоч в стократ. Сказавши це, покликнув: хто має уші слухати, нехай слухає.

Лк 8:9

Ученики ж Його запитали Його, кажучи: що означає притча ця?

Лк 8:10

Він же сказав: вам дано розуміти тайні Царства Божого, а іншим у притчах, так що вони, дивлячись, не бачать і, слухаючи, не розуміють.

Лк 8:11

От що означає ця притча: насіння є слово Боже.

Лк 8:12

А що впало при дорозі, це ті, що слухають, але потім приходить диявол та й одбирає слово із серця їх, щоб вони, увірувавши; не спаслись.

Лк 8:13

А що впало на камені, це ті, що як тільки почують слово, то з радістю його приймають, але вони кореня не мають, і до часу вірують, а в годину напасти відпадають.

Лк 8:14

А що впало між терен, це ті, що слухають та, відходячи, клопотами, багатцтвом та розкошами життя бувають риглушені і не дають овоч.

Лк 8:15

а що впало на добрій землі, це ті, що вислухавши слово, держать його в щирім і добрім серці і овоч приносять у терпеливості. Та сказавши це, покликнув: хто має уші слухати, нехай слухає.

Хто слухає вас Мене слухає, хто ж погорджує вами погорджує Мною, хто ж погорджує Мною погорджує Тим, Хто послав Мене.

Лк 10:17

А ті Сімдесят повернулися з радістю, кажучи: Господи, навіть демони коряться нам у Ім'я Твоє!

Лк 10:18

Він же промовив до них: Я бачив того сатану, що з неба спадав, немов блискавка.

Лк 10:19

Ось Я владу вам дав наступати на змій та скорпіонів, і на всю силу ворожу, і ніщо вам не зашкодить.

Лк 10:20

Та не тіштеся тим, що вам коряться духи, але тіштесь, що ваші ймення записані в небі!

Лк 10:21

Того часу Ісус звеселився був Духом Святим і промовив: Прославляю Тебе, Отче, Господи неба й землі, що втаїв Ти оце від премудрих і розумних, та його немовлятам відкрив. Так, Отче, бо Тобі так було до вподоби!

A reading of Holy Scripture from The Gospel of Saint Luke the Apostle 10:16-21

Luk 10:16

The one hearing you hears Me, and he who despises you despises Me; he who rejects you also rejects Him who sent Me.

Luk 10:17

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through Your name.

Luk 10:18

And He said to them, I saw Satan fall from Heaven like lightning.

Luk 10:19

Behold, I give to you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the authority of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luk 10:20

Yet do not rejoice in this, that the evil spirits are subject to you, rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.

Luk 10:21

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in Spirit and said, I thank You, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the sophisticated and cunning, and have revealed them to babes. Yes, Father, for so it was pleasing before You.
