Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost

2Co 6:1
But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
2Co 6:2
(For He says, "In an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of salvation, I helped you;" Behold, now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.)
2Co 6:3
We are in nothing giving cause of stumbling, in no way, so that the ministry may not be blamed,
2Co 6:4
but in everything commending ourselves as God's servants, in much patience, in troubles, in emergencies, in distresses,
2Co 6:5
in stripes, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;
2Co 6:6
in pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,
2Co 6:7
in the Word of Truth, in the power of God, through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
2Co 6:8
through glory and dishonor, through evil report and good report; as deceivers and yet true;
2Co 6:9
as unknown and yet well known; as dying and, behold, we live; as chastened and not killed;
2Co 6:10
as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.

А ми, як співробітники, благаємо, щоб ви Божої благодаті не брали надармо.
2Кор 6:2
Бо каже: Приємного часу почув Я тебе, і поміг Я тобі в день спасіння! Ось тепер час приємний, ось тепер день спасіння!
2Кор 6:3
Ні в чому ніякого спотикання не робимо, щоб служіння було бездоганне,
2Кор 6:4
а в усьому себе виявляємо, як служителів Божих, у великім терпінні, у скорботах, у бідах, у тіснотах,
2Кор 6:5
у вдарах, у в'язницях, у розрухах, у працях, у недосипаннях, у постах,
2Кор 6:6
у чистості, у розумі, у лагідності, у добрості, у Дусі Святім, у нелицемірній любові,

у слові істини, у силі Божій, зо зброєю правди в правиці й лівиці,

через славу й безчестя, через ганьбу й хвалу, як обманці, але ми правдиві;

як незнані, та познані, як умираючі, та ось ми живі; як карані, та не забиті;

як сумні, але завжди веселі; як убогі, але багатьох ми збагачуємо; як ті, що нічого не мають, але всім володіємо.

The Gospel of Saint Luke the Apostle 5:1-11
Luk 5:1
On one occasion, while the crowd was pressing in on Him to hear the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret,
Luk 5:2
and He saw two boats by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.
Luk 5:3
Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon's, He asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the people from the boat.
Luk 5:4
And when He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, "Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."
Luk 5:5
And Simon answered, "Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at Your word I will let down the nets."
Luk 5:6
And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking.
Luk 5:7
They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.
Luk 5:8
But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord."
Luk 5:9
For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish that they had taken,
Luk 5:10
and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men."

And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.

І побачив два човни, що стояли край озера, а рибалки, вийшовши з них, промивали невода.

Увійшовши в один з човнів, що був Симонів, Він просив його відплисти трохи від берега та, сівши, учив народ з човна.

Коли ж перестав учити. То сказав Симонові: попливи на глибінь та закиньте невід свій на влов.
Лк 5:5
Озвавшись, Симон сказав Йому: Учителю! Ми цілу ніч трудились, та не піймали нічого, але по слово Твоєму закину невода.
Лк 5:6
І це зробивши, піймали дуже багато риби, аж невід їх поривався.
Лк 5:7
І помахали вони товаришам, що були в другім човні, щоб прийшли помогти їм; і прийшли, і наповнили обидва човни, так, що вони стали тонути.
Лк 5:8
Побачивши [ це ], Симон Петр припав до колін Ісусових, кажучи: Іди від мене, Господи, бо я чоловік грішний.
Лк 5:9
Бо жах взяв його і всіх з ним од улову риби, що вловили;
Лк 5:10
Теж і Якова та Іоана, синів Заведеєвих, що були товариші Симона. І сказав Ісус Симонові: не бійся; з цього часу ловити будеш людей.
Лк 5:11
І витягши човни на берег та покинувши все, вони пішли за Ним.
