 Epistle reading from The Epistle [letter] of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Ephesians 4:1-6

Eph 4:1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called,

Eph 4:2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

Eph 4:3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit--just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call--

Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Heb 9:1 Then truly the first tabernacle had also ordinances of divine service and an earthly sanctuary.

Heb 9:2 For the first tabernacle was prepared, in which was both the lampstand, and the table, and the setting out of the loaves, which is called Holies.

Heb 9:3 And after the second veil was a tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,

Heb 9:4 having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid all around with gold, in which was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant.

Heb 9:5 And over it were the cherubs of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat (about which we cannot now speak piece by piece.

Heb 9:6 Now when these things were ordained in this way, the priests always went into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

Heb 9:7 But once in the year into the second the high priest goes alone, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the errors of the people.

Luk 12:16 And He told them a parable, saying, "The land of a rich man produced plentifully,

Luk 12:17 and he thought to himself, 'What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?'

Luk 12:18 And he said, ‘I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.

Luk 12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.’

Luk 12:20 But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?'

Luk 12:21 So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God."

Luk 10:38 And as they went, it happened that He entered into a certain village. And a certain woman named Martha received Him into her house.

Luk 10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.

Luk 10:40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she came to Him and said, Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.

Luk 10:41 And Jesus answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things.

Luk 10:42 But one thing is needful, and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Luk 11:27 And it happened as He spoke these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice and said to Him, Blessed is the

womb that bore You, and the breasts which You have sucked.

Luk 11:28 But He said, No; rather, blessed are they who hear the Word of God and keep it.

Лк 12:21 Отак то, хто збирає багатство собі, а не в Бога багатіє!

Лк 10:40 А Марта великою послугою клопоталась, а спинившись, сказала: Господи, чи байдуже Тобі, що на мене саму полишила служити сестра моя? Скажи ж їй, щоб мені помогла.

Лк 10:41 Господь же промовив у відповідь їй: Марто, Марто, турбуєшся й журишся ти про багато чого,

Лк 10:42 а потрібне одне. Марія ж обрала найкращу частку, яка не відбереться від неї...

Лк 11:27 І сталось, як Він це говорив, одна жінка з народу свій голос піднесла й сказала до Нього: Блаженна утроба, що носила Тебе, і груди, що Ти ссав їх!

Лк 11:28 А Він відказав: Так. Блаженні ж і ті, хто слухає Божого Слова і його береже!
