Epistle reading from The Epistle [letter] of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Ephesians 2:14-22
Eph 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in His flesh the dividing wall of hostility
Eph 2:15 by abolishing the law of commandments and ordinances, that He might create in Himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace,
Eph 2:16 and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
Eph 2:17 And He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near.
Eph 2:18 For through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.
Eph 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
Eph 2:20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone,
Eph 2:21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
Eph 2:22 In Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.

1Co 4:9 For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, like men sentenced to death, because we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men.
1Co 4:10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honour, but we in disrepute.
1Co 4:11 To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless,
1Co 4:12 and we labour, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure;

Luk 10:25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put Him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"
Luk 10:26 He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How do you read it?"
Luk 10:27 And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."
Luk 10:28 And He said to him, "You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live."
Luk 10:29 But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbour?"
Luk 10:30 Jesus replied, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead.
Luk 10:31 Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side.
Luk 10:32 So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.
Luk 10:33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion.
Luk 10:34 He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
Luk 10:35 And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, 'Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.'
Luk 10:36 Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbour to the man who fell among the robbers?"
Luk 10:37 He said, "The one who showed him mercy." And Jesus said to him, "You go, and do likewise."

Joh 1:43 The day after, Jesus desired to go forth into Galilee. And He found Philip and said to him, Follow Me.
Joh 1:44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
Joh 1:45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, We have found Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
Joh 1:46 And Nathanael said to him, Can there be any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.
Joh 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him and said of him, Behold an Israelite indeed in whom is no guile!
Joh 1:48 Nathanael said to Him, From where do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.
Joh 1:49 Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God. You are the King of Israel!
Joh 1:50 Jesus answered and said to him, Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You shall see greater things than these.
Joh 1:51 And He said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Hereafter you shall see Heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.

Лк 10:32 Также і левит, бувши на тім місці, підійшов, поглянув і пройшов мимо.
Лк 10:33 Самарянин же якийсь, проїжджаючи, спіткав його і, побачивши його, змилосердився,
Лк 10:34 І приступивши, обв’язав йому рани, поливаючи оливою і вином, та, посадивши його на свою худобину, привіз до гостиниці і клопотавсь коло нього;
Лк 10:35 А на другий день від’їжджаючи, вийняв два динарії і дав господареві і сказав йому: доглядай його, і якщо більше на нього стратиш, я, вертаючись, оддам тобі.
Лк 10:36 Як думаєш, хто з цих трьох був ближній тому, що попавсь розбійникам?
Лк 10:37 Він же сказав: той, що вчинив над ним милосердя. Ісус же йому сказав: іди і ти так чини.

Ів 1:43 Одного разу, захотів Ісус піти в Галилею і знаходить Филипа та й каже йому: іди за Мною.
Ів 1:44 А Филип був з Вифсаїди, з міста Андрієвого та Петрового.
Ів 1:45 Филип знаходить Нафанаїла та й каже йому: про кого Мойсей і пророки писали в законі, Того ми знайшли: Ісуса сина Іосифового, що з Назарету.
Ів 1:46 І сказав йому Нафанаїл: з Назарету чи може що добре бути? Филип йому каже: іди і подивись.
Ів 1:47 Побачив Ісус, що йде до Нього Нафанаїл, та й сказав про нього: от справді Ізраїльтянин, в якому лукавства нема.
Ів 1:48 Сказав Йому Нафанаїл: звідки Ти знаєш мене? Одповів Ісус і сказав йому: перше ніж покликав тебе Филип, Я бачив, як ти був під смоковницею.
Ів 1:49 Відповів Нафанаїл і каже Йому: Равві! Ти Син Божий, Ти Цар Ізраїлів!
Ів 1:50 Озвавсь Ісус і сказав йому: через те, що Я сказав тобі, що бачив тебе під смоковницею, ти віруєш; більше цього побачиш.
Ів 1:51 І каже йому: істинно, істинно кажу вам: од цього часу побачите небо відкрите і ангелів Божих, що підіймаються і спускаються до Сина Людського.
