Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love with which He loved us
Eph 2:5 (even when we were dead in sins) has made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved),
Eph 2:6 and has raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,
Eph 2:7 so that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,
Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

A reading of Holy Scripture from the Gospel of Saint Luke the Apostle 8:41-56
Luk 8:41 And behold, a man named Jairus came, and he was a synagogue-ruler. And he fell down at Jesus' feet and begged Him that He would come into his house.
Luk 8:42 For he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay dying. But as He went, the people thronged Him.
Luk 8:43 And a woman who had a flow of blood twelve years (who had spent all her living on physicians, and could not be healed by any)
Luk 8:44 came behind Him and touched the border of His garment. And instantly her flow of blood was staunched.
Luk 8:45 And Jesus said, Who touched Me? And all having denied, Peter and those with Him said, Master, the crowd presses and jostles You, and You say, Who touched Me?
Luk 8:46 And Jesus said, Someone has touched Me, for I know that power has gone out of Me.
Luk 8:47 And seeing that she was not hidden, the woman came trembling. And falling down before Him, she declared to Him before all the people why she had touched Him, and how she was instantly healed.
Luk 8:48 And He said to her, Daughter, be comforted. Your faith has saved you; go in peace.
Luk 8:49 He was still speaking when someone came from the synagogue-ruler, saying to him, Your daughter is dead, do not trouble the Teacher.
Luk 8:50 But when Jesus heard, He answered Him, saying, Do not fear, only believe and she shall be healed.
Luk 8:51 And coming into the house, He allowed no one to go in, except Peter and James and John, and the father and the mother of the girl.
Luk 8:52 And all were weeping and bewailing her. But He said, Do not weep; she has not died, but sleeps.
Luk 8:53 And they ridiculed, knowing that she was dead.
Luk 8:54 And He put them all out. And He took her by the hand and called, saying, Little girl, arise!
Luk 8:55 And her spirit came again, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that food be given her to eat.
Luk 8:56 And her parents were astonished. But He charged them to tell no one the thing that happened.

Лк 8:41 Аж ось прийшов муж, Яір на ім'я, що був старшим синагоги. Він припав до Ісусових ніг, та й став благати Його завітати до дому його.
Лк 8:42 Бо він мав одиначку дочку, років десь із дванадцять, і вмирала вона. А коли Він ішов, народ тиснув Його.
Лк 8:43 А жінка одна, що дванадцять років хворою на кровотечу була, що ніхто вздоровити не міг її,
Лк 8:44 підійшовши ззаду, доторкнулась до краю одежі Його, і хвилі тієї спинилася їй кровотеча!
Лк 8:45 А Ісус запитав: Хто доторкнувся до Мене? Коли ж відмовлялися всі, то Петро відказав: Учителю, народ коло Тебе он товпиться й тисне.
Лк 8:46 Ісус же промовив: Доторкнувсь хтось до Мене, бо Я відчув силу, що вийшла з Мене...
Лк 8:47 А жінка, побачивши, що вона не втаїлась, трясучись, підійшла та й упала перед Ним, і призналася перед усіма людьми, чому доторкнулась до Нього, і як хвилі тієї одужала.
Лк 8:48 Він же промовив до неї: Дочко, твоя віра спасла тебе; іди з миром собі!
Лк 8:49 Як Він ще промовляв, приходить ось від старшини синагоги один та й говорить: Дочка твоя вмерла, не турбуй же Вчителя!
Лк 8:50 Ісус же, почувши, йому відповів: Не лякайсь, тільки віруй, і буде спасена вона.
Лк 8:51 Прийшовши ж до дому, не пустив Він нікого з Собою ввійти, крім Петра, та Івана, та Якова, та батька дівчати, та матері.
Лк 8:52 А всі плакали та голосили за нею... Він же промовив: Не плачте, не вмерла вона, але спить!
Лк 8:53 І насміхалися з Нього, бо знали, що вмерла вона.
Лк 8:54 А Він узяв за руку її та й скрикнув, говорячи: Дівчатко, вставай!
Лк 8:55 І вернувся їй дух, і хвилі тієї вона ожила... І звелів дать їй їсти.
Лк 8:56 І здивувались батьки її. А Він наказав їм нікому не розповідати, що сталось.
