Epistle reading from The First Epistle [letter] of Saint Paul the Apostle to Corinthians 15:1-11

1Co 15:1 

And, brothers, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and in which you stand;

1Co 15:2 

by which you also are being kept safe, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

1Co 15:3 

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures,

1Co 15:4 

and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures;

1Co 15:5 

and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the Twelve.

1Co 15:6 

Afterward He was seen by over five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain until this present day, but also some fell asleep.

1Co 15:7 

Afterward He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.

1Co 15:8 

And last of all He was seen by me also, as one born out of time.

1Co 15:9 

For I am the least of the apostles and am not sufficient to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

1Co 15:10 

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was toward me has not been without fruit, but I laboured more abundantly than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

1Co 15:11 

Therefore whether it was I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.

Читання Апостола з Першого Послання [листа] св. ап. Павла до Коринтян 15:1-11

1Кор 15:1 

Звіщаю ж вам, браття, Євангелію, яку я вам благовістив, і яку прийняли ви, в якій і стоїте,

1Кор 15:2 

Якою й спасаєтесь, коли пам'ятаєте, яким словом я благовістив вам, якщо тільки ви ввірували не наосліп.

1Кор 15:3 

Бо я передав вам найперш, що й прийняв, що Христос був умер ради наших гріхів за Писанням,

1Кор 15:4 

і що Він був похований, і що третього дня Він воскрес за Писанням,

1Кор 15:5 

і що з'явився Він Кифі, потім Дванадцятьом.

1Кор 15:6 

А потім з'явився нараз більше як п'ятистам браттям, що більшість із них живе й досі, а дехто й спочили.

1Кор 15:7 

Потому з'явився Він Якову, опісля усім апостолам.

1Кор 15:8 

А по всіх Він з'явився й мені, мов якому недородкові.

1Кор 15:9 

Я бо найменший з апостолів, що негідний зватись апостолом, бо я переслідував був Божу Церкву.

1Кор 15:10 

Та благодаттю Божою я те, що є, і благодать Його, що в мені, не даремна була, але я працював більше всіх їх, правда не я, але Божа благодать, що зо мною вона.

1Кор 15:11 

Тож чи я, чи вони, ми так проповідуємо, і так ви ввірували.   

A reading of Holy Scripture from The Gospel of Saint Matthew the Apostle 19:16-26 

Mat 19:16 

And behold, a man came up to Him, saying, "Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?"

Mat 19:17 

And He said to him, "Why do you ask Me about what is good? There is only One who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments."

Mat 19:18 

He said to Him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,

Mat 19:19 

Honour your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbour as yourself."

Mat 19:20 

The young man said to Him, "All these I have kept. What do I still lack?"

Mat 19:21 

Jesus said to him, "If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

Mat 19:22 

When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Mat 19:23 

And Jesus said to His disciples, "Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 19:24 

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God."

Mat 19:25 

When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?"

Mat 19:26 

But Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Мт 19:16

Одного разу юнак один підійшов до Ісуса, кланяючись Йому, сказав: Учителю благий! Яке добро повинен я чинити, щоб життя вічне мати?

Мт 19:17

Він же сказав йому: Чого ти зовеш Мене благим? Ніхто не благий, тільки один Бог. А коли хочеш увійти в життя вічне, виконай заповіді.

Мт 19:18

Каже Йому: Які? Ісус же сказав: Не вбивай, не любодійствуй, не крадь, не свідч не по правді;

Мт 19:19

Шануй батька твого й матір, і возлюби ближнього твого, як себе самого.

Мт 19:20

Каже Йому юнак: Усе те виконав я змалку; чого ще не стає мені?

Мт 19:21

Сказав йому Ісус: Коли хочеш бути звершеним, то йди, продай все добро своє і роздай убогим, і матимеш скарб на небі, і приходь та й іди за Мною.

Мт 19:22

Як почув юнак те слово, то відійшов смутний, бо багато добра мав.

Мт 19:23

А Ісус сказав ученикам Своїм: Істинно кажу вам, що трудно багатому ввійти в Царство Небесне.

Мт 19:24

І ще скажу вам, легше верблюдові крізь голчине ушко пройти, ніж багатому в Царство небесне ввійти.

Мт 19:25

Почувши ж те, ученики Його дивувались дуже й казали: Хто ж зможе спастись?

Мт 19:26

Ісус же, зглянувши, сказав їм: У людей це не можна, а у Бога все можна.
