Gal 6:11 See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand.

Gal 6:12 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.

Gal 6:13 For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.

Gal 6:14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Gal 6:15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

Gal 6:16 And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

Gal 6:17 From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.

Gal 6:18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.

Гал 6:11 Погляньте, якими великими буквами я написав вам своєю рукою!

Гал 6:12 Усі ті, хто бажає хвалитися тілом, змушують вас обрізуватись, щоб тільки вони не були переслідувані за хреста Христового.

Гал 6:13 Бо навіть і ті, хто обрізується, самі не зберігають Закона, а хочуть, щоб ви обрізувались, щоб хвалитися їм вашим тілом.

Гал 6:14 А щодо мене, то нехай нічим не хвалюся, хіба тільки хрестом Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, що ним розп'ятий світ для мене, а я для світу.

Гал 6:15 Бо сили немає ані обрізання, ані необрізання, а створіння нове.

Гал 6:16 А всі ті, хто піде за цим правилом, мир та милість на них, і на Ізраїля Божого!

Гал 6:17 Зрештою, хай ніхто не турбує мене, бо ношу я Ісусові рани на тілі своїм!...

A reading of Holy Scripture from the Gospel of Saint Luke the Apostle 8:26-39 

Luk 8:26 Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee.

Luk 8:27 When Jesus had stepped out on land, there met Him a man from the city who had demons. For a long time he had worn no clothes, and he had not lived in a house but among the tombs.

Luk 8:28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him and said with a loud voice, "What have You to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me."

Luk 8:29 For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. (For many a time it had seized him. He was kept under guard and bound with chains and shackles, but he would break the bonds and be driven by the demon into the desert.)

Luk 8:30 Jesus then asked him, "What is your name?" And he said, "Legion," for many demons had entered him.

Luk 8:31 And they begged Him not to command them to depart into the abyss.

Luk 8:32 Now a large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside, and they begged Him to let them enter these. So He gave them permission.

Luk 8:33 Then the demons came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.

Luk 8:34 When the herdsmen saw what had happened, they fled and told it in the city and in the country.

Luk 8:35 Then people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had gone, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.

Luk 8:36 And those who had seen it told them how the demon-possessed man had been healed.

Luk 8:37 Then all the people of the surrounding country of the Gerasene asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. So He got into the boat and returned.

Luk 8:38 The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with Him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,

Luk 8:39 "Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you." And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.

Лк 8:26 Одного разу, коли прийшов Ісус у сторону Гадаринську, що лежить навпроти Галилеї.

Лк 8:27 Коли ж вийшов Він на берег, стрівся Йому якийсь чоловік з міста, що давнього часу мав бісів, і не одягався у одежу і жив не в хаті, а в гробовищах.

Лк 8:28 Той, уздрівши Ісуса, закричав, і впав перед Ним і гучним голосом сказав: що Тобі до мене, Ісусе, Сину Бога Вишнього? Молю Тебе, не муч мене.

Лк 8:29 Бо [Ісус] звелів духові нечистому вийти з цього чоловіка: з давнього бо часу той мучив його; і в’язали його ланцюгами і кайданами та стерегли, а він розривав ланцюги, і ганяв його біс у пустелі.

Лк 8:30 Запитав же Ісус його, кажучи: як твоє ім’я? Він сказав: легіон, бо багато бісів ввійшло в нього.

Лк 8:31 І вони благали Ісуса, щоб не звелів їм іти у безодню.

Лк 8:32 Тут же на горі пасся великий гурт свиней, і [біси] просили Його, щоб дозволив їм увійти в них.

Лк 8:33 Він дозволив їм. Біси, вийшовши з чоловіка, увійшли в свиней, і кинувся гурт з кручі в озеро та й потонув.

Лк 8:34 Пастухи ж, побачивши, що сталось, побігли і сповістили в місті і по селах.

Лк 8:35 І вийшли подивитись, що сталось; і прийшовши до Ісуса, найшли, що чоловік, що з нього вийшли біси, одягнений і при своїм умі сидів у ногах Ісусових, і полякались.

Лк 8:36 А ті, що бачили, розказали їм, як сцілився біснуватий.

Лк 8:37 І просив Його весь народ з околиць Гадаринських, щоб одійшов од них, бо страх великий огорнув їх. Він, увійшовши в човен, вернувся.

Лк 8:38 Чоловік, же що з нього вийшли біси, благав Його, щоб бути з Ним; але Ісус одіслав його, кажучи:

Лк 8:39 Вернись до дому свого і розкажи, що вчинив тобі Бог. І він пішов і по всьому місту оповідав, що вчинив йому Ісус.
